The flag of Graubünden is divided into four quarters. The upper-left and lower-right quarters are split diagonally in black and white, representing the Grey League (Grauer Bund). The upper-right quarter shows a blue and gold cross for the League of God's House, and the lower-left shows a wild goat (ibex) on blue for the League of the Ten Jurisdictions. These three leagues united to form the canton.

Graubünden is the only officially trilingual Swiss canton, with German, Romansh, and Italian as its three official languages.
