Kazakhstan

asiasuneagleornament

Kazakhstan's flag features a sky-blue field with a golden sun with 32 rays in the center, below which is a soaring golden steppe eagle. A vertical golden ornamental pattern (koshkar-muiz) runs along the hoist side. The blue represents the sky and peace, while the sun and eagle symbolize freedom and the high aspirations of the Kazakh people.

Kazakhstan's flag is one of the few in the world to feature a steppe eagle, and the 32 rays around the sun represent the grains of wheat symbolizing prosperity and abundance.
