The flag of Bedfordshire features a gold field with a red eagle, representing the county's Anglo-Saxon heritage. The eagle comes from the arms of the Duke of Bedford and symbolises the county's historical connection to the Bedford family.
Bedfordshire's flag was designed by Brady Ells, who won a competition organised by the High Sheriff of Bedfordshire.
