Rond么nia
statesstargoldblue
The flag of Rond么nia features a dark blue field with a large gold star at the center, from which radiates a pattern of gold lines or rays. The blue represents the sky over the Amazon, and the gold star symbolizes the state's mineral wealth, particularly its tin deposits which drove colonization. The design is relatively modern, reflecting the state's creation as a territory in 1943 and its elevation to statehood in 1981, named after Marshal C芒ndido Rondon, the famous explorer and indigenous rights advocate.
Rond么nia is named after Marshal C芒ndido Rondon, a legendary Brazilian explorer who laid thousands of kilometers of telegraph lines through the Amazon and championed indigenous peoples' rights.
