Chiba

prefectureskatakanabluegold

The flag of Chiba features a yellow-gold mon emblem on a blue field. The emblem is a stylised katakana character チ (chi) and ハ (ha), combined into a dynamic, abstract design resembling a sprout or young plant. The golden colour represents the prefecture's abundant rapeseed flowers and agricultural richness, while the blue background symbolises the Pacific Ocean and Tokyo Bay coastline.

Chiba is home to Narita International Airport and Tokyo Disneyland, which despite its name is located in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, not in Tokyo.
