Innlandet
countiescoat of armsroseflower
The coat of arms of Innlandet county shows a golden rose with five petals on a green field. The rose symbolizes growth, nature, and the fertile valleys of Norway's interior. Innlandet was created in 2020 by merging Hedmark and Oppland counties. The green field represents the vast forests and agricultural lands that characterize this landlocked county, which contains some of Norway's highest mountains and deepest valleys.
Innlandet contains both Galdhopiggen, the highest peak in Northern Europe at 2,469 meters, and Mjosa, Norway's largest lake.
