Non-Binary Pride

identitystripeshorizontalfour-stripe

Created by Kye Rowan in 2014 at age 17, this flag features yellow, white, purple, and black stripes. It was designed to complement (not replace) the genderqueer flag, representing people whose gender identity falls outside the male/female binary.

Rowan created the flag at just 17 years old after a call for designs on Tumblr. Yellow was chosen because it is often used to represent something distinct from the binary.
