Tajikistan's flag features three horizontal stripes of red, white (wider), and green, with a golden crown topped by seven stars in the center of the white stripe. Red represents the sun, victory, and unity, white stands for purity and the cotton and snow of the mountains, and green symbolizes Islam and the bounty of nature.
The seven stars above the crown on Tajikistan's flag represent the Tajik concept of perfection and happiness, as the number seven is considered sacred in Tajik culture.
