Aruba

territoriesblueredyellow

Aruba's flag features a light blue field with two narrow yellow horizontal stripes in the lower half and a four-pointed red star outlined in white in the upper left canton. The blue represents the sea, sky, and hope. The red star represents the island surrounded by the sea, and its four points represent the four cardinal directions from which people came to Aruba.

Aruba is one of the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao) of the Netherlands Antilles. The four-pointed star is unique among world flags — most flags use five or six-pointed stars.
